I feel so tired all the time. I could fall asleep at the drop of a hat, but I cant. I dont sleep well at night, sometimes I doze for half an hour or so, does anyone else feel like this? I take sleeping pills but wake up after an hour or two.

I have the same trouble. I've tried different sleeping pills, relaxation, all sorts of jazz that's supposed to get you off to sleep, but have so far been unsuccessful.
I wish I could give you some helpful information, but I don't have any. Sorry.

Well I can tell you not to sleep on an inflatable mattress because you usally end of sleeping on the floor. I did not have that problem until Thursday night, Friday morning. Even though my wife and I are separated I knew she was going out and I was so worried about her that I woke around 12:30 and sent a text message and did not get one back until around 2 so at that point I just got up and went to work Squirlly Early. But other than that time no not really, the only thing that I could recommend would be some deep breathing excersises to help clear your mind because that is when I do my worst sleeping when something is on my mind. The past couple of days for some unknown reason haven't been too bad for me but I have been there.

My nights are usually a series of naps more than sleep. Even with sleep meds which don't really seem to help much. I usually give up about 4:30-5:00 in the morning and just get up. Then drag through the day.

It dosen't seem to matter how tired I am feeling, as soon as I lay down - I'm wide wake, mind racing, ready to go. I'll doze off but never for long. If I stay asleep of 1 1/2 hrs I consider myself very lucky.

sure hope things get better for you soon
take care

You've had a physical lately, checked to see your hormone levels are "right"? I sleep differently now that I'm taking thyroid meds. I'd have a doctor check hormones and any meds interactions, etc.

my guess Kerry, from reading your posts and knowing what little i do about your history is that stress is one of your biggest issues both in sleeping and waking times... i agree with the above re deep breathing, i did it for about a year awhile back and actually got to the point i decided i was too relaxed (can you imagine?) and even tried finding little things to annoy me so i wasn't such a sleepy cat...

This may sound trivial but are you doing some physical exercise? While being mentally exhausted doesn't help to sleep if you are anxious, some heavy muscular work may dispel the worries and get you asleep. I don't know, it works for me.
