On the edge

So things have been going pretty smoothly the last couple of months or so. But this week I am struggling.

My head is all over the place. My mood is all over the place. And I feel like I am just right on the edge of tipping into crisis.

I just feel like I am slowly but surely losing it. Losing the motivation that I’ve had to keep going. And all the self destructive things I used to turn to are becoming more and more appealing.

Those suicidal thoughts and urges are creeping back in, trying to take hold once more.

I’m trying to do the right things, I just don’t know if it’s enough to stop me going into crisis. I just wish this would stop happening. I need this to stop.

You can do this. You're strong. You've been through so much... I'm sorry you're feeling like this

I’d like to second what Mickey said. You are strong enough to get through this and you have beat this before. Please hang in there and reach out if you need to.

See if you can keep doing the right things and perhaps endure this current phase you're going through - maybe you need to take a break too - and hopefully the thoughts and feelings will begin to lift again.

Use all the tools you have at your disposal, to keep away from the self destructive activities, please. It might be appealing, yes, but it's an illusion, friend.

How are you doing today?

I’m feeling pretty low today, but trying to stay positive. It’s mine and my girlfriend’s first anniversary today so I’m doing my best not to ruin that. She won a rainbow cake mix recently so we are planning on making that later. And then we are gonna have a nice chilled night in with junk food and netflix.

That sounds like a good plan. I hope you experience some peaceful and enjoyable moments today with your girlfriend. I know it’s hard.
