I'm in a strange condition, at least new for me.
I use to have 2 types of episodes: "small ones" of 3-4 days, when anguish peks out just a little and quickly subsides. And "big ones" which normally last 3-4 weeks and range from severe to devastating.
Now last week I was feeling a small one, an anguish which I can control, and that is not strong enough to induce complete anhedonia. But now it's ten days and it doesn't go away. It's always lurking there, unable to knock me down as usual, but obstinated to remain.
Anybody can relate to this experience?

Maybe something else is going on in your life that is boring or that you wish to avoid thinking about. Boredom often strikes me as you define the can't-knock-me-down but doesn't go away episode.

Do something "unusual" for you and see if it changes the situation.

Thank you all

Yes, I keep a chart of episodes, that I submit to my pdoc when we meet. And yes, there is MUCH boredom in my life, which grows during periods of intense work. I only hope this one will not join with the Xmas blue.
