There's nothing left, been like that for awhile now.

A few months ago I was sent by my company to another store, pretty much what everyone said it's where people went before they are let go. During that time I got into a motor vehicle accident, which because of the laws where I live, I was at fault. Even the officer said he could see what happened and the other driver was probably at fault, but laws are laws.

A few days later I found out said car has a major mechanical issue and is due to expire any day. Been looking for a vehicle, was informed of one from my brother, it would have been a perfect match for me, older pick up truck for cheap. It was bought out from under my feet by an employee of my brother's store and of course for cheaper than the asking price.

In that time thanks to some x-mas gifts of lottery scratch-offs I won a decent amount of money, where it had to be sent to the lottery commission for verification. I called a week ago to see if they received it, of course they had not and told me to call again today. Did that, they still had not received it. They took the info of the ticket and put a block on it so it cannot be claimed by someone else. The only way I can get the money now is if they receive the ticket with the claim form with my info on it. Even if they receive the ticket, without the claim info they cannot do anything. So the money that could have helped me with getting a car got lost or stolen in the mail.

This info will certainly speed up the death of my current vehicle. Which will lead me to losing my current job. Which I feel I will lose this job soon anyway. I have been in a mood for a couple weeks now and every bad thing that can happen at work is happening. On days I close I am given one other person when 3 are needed. Then this sunday it's me and two trainees working. So I will be doing the job of 3 people. Understand where I work does 5+ times the business than any other similar store and the ordering system takes time to learn. I wish they would just let me go but someone told me the company doesn't just fire people, they set it up so they don't have to pay unemployment. So I have to try and hold out but with how tired and moody I've been I don't think I'll make it past sunday.

Yes, I know what you are going through and I hope it gets better for you. I am in the same situation and let's just say, almost 2 decades later and I am still dealing with the same crap.

I have been dealing with crap like this my whole life. I've become known as bad luck (insert my real name) to some of my co-workers. I've heard it all over the years, "it will get better" "things will change" and blah blah blah. Nothing has gotten better, it's gotten worse.

The big, "things will get better" thing was this new job. It has gotten worse since the new job and costing me more. If I would have stayed where I was at I'd still have issues but it wouldn't be costing me so much.

My patience has gone. Waiting to die from old age or whatever health issues I have has taken too long. Waking up is a sentence worse than any torture I could think of.
