Lately I've been keeping To Do Lists. Some of them have been quite long and have left me a bit overwhelmed. A friend of mine from another forum reminded me of the 3 Task Rule. Just pick 3 things to do each day. One really tough one and two fairly simple. Try your best to complete them. What you don't get to one day goes on the list for the next day. I like that rule. So I'm starting Just 3 Things.

Tomorrow my three things are:

Go to my doctor's appointment.
Cook a nice meal.
Unload the dishwasher.

Great thread! I’m a big fan of the 3 MIT rule. Tomorrow mine will be

1. Clean the den
2. Go through the mail
3. Pick up medicine

I made it to my doctor's appointment. That went very well. I didn't cook a meal but I ordered sandwiches from Red Robbin. And I didn't get around to unloading the dishwasher. So I plan to tomorrow:

Unload dishwasher.
Clean litter boxes.
Set up my VR headset.

Today, I didn’t accomplish anything. I will try again tomorrow. My 3 MIT for tomorrow are

1. Rehoming my daughter’s dog
2. Seeing a movie
3. Floating in the pool

My T taught me this helpful idea! It’s great, also I leave a slot open one day that I label finish list activity and free time. So I reward myself for completing. It definitely keeps me on track.

My three things to do today:
1. Pick up groceries
2. Make slime with my niece
3. Pick up living room and put things where they go

Good luck to you, this habit is hard to get into but I keep a list to cross off and on bad days I hang it on the refrigerator to keep focused. Just 3 ThingsJust 3 ThingsJust 3 ThingsJust 3 Things

I unloaded the dishwasher and cleaned the litter boxes today. I didn't set up my VR headset. I was too busy playing the new release of my game.

I got the most important thing done...rehoming my daughter’s dog. I didn’t float in the pool but am going to see a movie later.

Tomorrow my MITs are:

1. Floating in the pool
2. Cleaning the den
3. Cleaning the dining room

I did almost finish the den and the dining room but was too sick for the other. Tomorrow I will:

I saw my NP today but have not done the other two items. I am about to run errands now and work on editing my vision board on Pinterest. My MIT for tomorrow are:

1. Finish the den
2. Go to a Fourth of July celebration (yes, it’s one day early)
3. Finish the dining room

Hope you enjoy the cook out tomorrow. I bought stuff to make my own burgers. But my burgers go in the microwave lol! And enjoy your session with your life coach. Sounds cool!

I went to the cookout and had fun and had a great first session with my life coach and took out the trash but I can’t seem to find the motivation to finish the den. I’ll try again tomorrow.

1. Finish the den
2. Spa pedicure
3. Sell some books at a resale shop

I’ll also float in the pool to relax.

I got off track with a bad day. Today seems to be going better. My three tasks for today are:

1. Take out the trash.
2. Order groceries.
3. Clean litter boxes.

I got off track yesterday as well. Today my MIT are:

1. Float in pool
2. Clean house
3. Edit my vision board/affirmations

I save images on Pinterest and call that my vision board. I have one with positive images and one with positive affirmations. I think it's cool that you have a vision board as well.
