Ah, my friends. I'm currently dancing on the edge of the pit. You know how it feels: you may feel sad, or worried, or angry. Then something switches, and you feel THAT taste: the taste of depression.

This puts you on a difficult situation. You know the taste, but how intense is it going to become? You just wait, while shivers run down your spine, and you tremble in fear.

So I'm waiting to know what's going to happen.

This frog of little brain has not found the magic spell to keep you from slipping. I hope what you are feeling are only shadows and will not turn into a thunder storm.

Since I know you walk from time to time, I would suggest a nice long walk. Only trouble its dark there and probably raining. But it is suppose to be sunny on Monday. Maybe then you can take a walk and chace the shadows away.

Not much help I'm afraid.

Take a shower and wash off the smell for a bit, find something savory or juicy, fun and tasty to eat. I drink a beer with a orange slice in it and I eat the orange slice first :-)

Turn the weather into a time to be cozy and warm instead of depessed.

stefano ,thinking of you and hoping you are ok.Your words express so well this familiar dread .

I agree with the little frog,if you can possibly raise the energy get out and walk, sometimes it helps blow some cobwebs away.I also get some relief from reading small comforting poems that speak of hope.

Remember if you can that this too will pass,in the meantime rest as much as you can.

Well, the first good thing to do is to express my trouble here at PC and being comforted by good friends The smell of fear
Thank you all for being there

Yes, I need rest. Not the complete solution, but I slept too little this week. Since I have time tomorrow, I will try out your suggestions.
The ironical part is that I still have chances to do meaningful things, the type of creative activities that make my life worth living. But I may be stripped of the needed enthusiasm at any moment (I feel it's fading as I'm speaking). Well, I suppose only time will tell.

BTW, the frog's weather forecast is reliable, it is really flooding out there The smell of fear

Well, thank you all again and I'll keep you posted.
