Some health issues take a long time to recover from. I remember feeling down from an injury that was still disabling six months after it happened--finally, one year later, it started getting better and two years later, it was not perfectly healed (it never will) but it was so, so much better.

You are so right about stress. I now have great blood pressure but do notice how sensitive it is to stress. I also know someone who has Type 2 diabetes and he has noticed that stress can make his blood sugars spike as much as carbs!

I hope all of us misfits manage to have a stress free day!

Me too. I still fall short in so many ways. I still have an on and off struggle with using pot. I believe my prescribed medications help me but not this unprescribed one. I feel this way about it because of the types of thoughts I am sometimes invaded with (not always but sometimes it causes me a lot of double thinking and doubts) when I use it.

My goodness, all of you are saying things that put you more deeply in my heart. I feel so much love, & I know how blessed I am to be here with you. I hope it's ok to say God bless you. And thank you so much for being here.

With me, I'd say that - in the 3 or 4 years since I joined PC - my clinical depression has eased, thank goodness But I am still a misfit, and always will be

Oh, and it's because of PC that I improved. I'm absolutely convinced of that

I didn't get it at first either. But this interpretation makes sense to me.

It's snowing lightly here today. I'm tired as usual although I did accomplish some things today. I've been thinking lately about how much I seem to have gone down hill physically over the past few months or so. Psychologically I think I've gone down hill as well though.

Fear of everything in general, as well as nothing in particular, seems to be something that has become prominent in my day-to-day life now. I don't know why. Anxiety might be a bigger problem than it is except I take Clonazepam and that keeps my anxiety down to a manageable level. Perhaps it's all just a part of getting old?
