It has been a long while. I have tried to survive this neverending wave of depression, helplessness, hopelessness. It hasn’t worked.

I am currently in my fourth admission to IP since July. And not one has helped. Just over two weeks ago I did something that landed me in the hospital. Something i have no memory of. And yet they all look to me to stop the behaviour, to start living again. How can i stop what i dont remember?

At some point this is all going to give. At some point no one will look to me for answers or opinions. They’ll just assume they know what’s best.

And at that point, I will know i’m well and truly done.

I really understand the feelings of helplessness and hopelessness. It gets oppressive, like it being hard to breathe. I understand feeling done.

I hope things can get even a little better for you.

If you do not understand the reason why you are there IP, take a look around you. Is being IP what you want?

I believe that IP only helps sometimes, and when I kept going to IP places I lost sight of who I was and wanted to become. I found my mind going to dark places. And then blocking those dark places from my active mind. It's called dissociation.

The mind has power to re-direct, when given cues. What once was, does not have to "always" be.
