From what I know of your story, it wasn't your fault. You were in an abusive relationship and it was the other person. So the guilt doesn't belong to you.

Didn't Ebony get cancer? I really don't think there was much you could do about that. Cancer hits some and not others. It's bad luck. That's all. You love Ebony. You will always love Ebony. Ebony knows you love her. I believe one day you will see her again at the other side of the rainbow bridge. Don't you have two other sweet kitties? Please allow them to distract you and love on you.
