It's so hard to find motivation to do anything. I have a job. I should be there right now. I was up to be there early, but I just thought **** it. What's the point? I stopped going to my GED classes. I dunno...I just want to know how I can find motivation. I can't find it in myself, I've tried. I don't know how I can start taking responsibility and motivate myself to move forward again. Any suggestions?

Maybe I should start seeing a therapist. I haven't done that at all. There's something inside me that keeps telling me that maybe they can help me find out what's keeping me rooted in this one spot.

i think they could, might try, some care v much.... i would try almost anything myself... you can do stuff.. get info from books, find role models... join clubs...

i think what i missed out on due to depression was community support... i wanted to play softball and volleyball.. but i lost friendships... couldnt keep them going.... the sadness was overwhelming....

wish wish wish i new then what i think i know now....

dont let it snowball too big in the negative and down direction if you can help it.....

any hobbies? what would you like to do if you could do anything you wanted to? dont worry how impossible it seems... what would you rally like to do?

hope i notice your reply Thinking... can shoot me a pm if i dont.... take care.....

I hate sports. I dropped out of High School. I still have lots of friends, but not to be rude, but they can't help either. I'm afraid that if this therapist can't help me, then nobody can. I drink and smoke weed for comfort. Sure it helps for that split moment where I can get away from everything, but in the long run, everything is just snowballing. I've been letting the snowball get bigger for years and I need to stop it before that snowball kills me.

Motivation can only come from what you want. Write down your daydreams and then put them into goals.

The whole website is kind of fun, maybe you'll find an idea there:
