Welcome to PC...

If you think you need to go to the hospital, I would advise that you go there... they should be able to help (at least somewhat). Do you have a therapist/counsellor or someone you could contact as well?

i ended up going to the er back when i was having panic attacks i also have depression, sometimes they will have a counselor and or social worker that can talk you through your problems at the er, they may also set you up and appointment with an outpatient "hospital". thats what they did for me, i got to see a dr at the outpatient hospital then he referred me to a psychologist. good luck, i hope i was helpful!! freaking out
