HI,
I'm so depressed right now. My sister and her family are moving 2000 miles away and I won't be able to see my newphews. I feel so alone, that I don't have anyone to talk to. I met with my therapist today and he thinks I'm going thru a relapse of depression. I have been so lonley lately, some days I can't take it. Its like I can't connect with anyone. I'm on the outside looking in and observing what everyone else is doing.

I don't how to get out of this rut. Usually it goes away with time, but I don't cope very well. I usually do some form of self destructive behavior. I don't know what to do. I have learn DBT skills, which help somewhat. But some days, I can't see to focus. It's a miracle I get any work done.

I guess I tried to communicate my feelings to others, but I can't seem to relate to them. I wish I was able to talk to someone who is going through the same thing I have, I have BPD.

Anyway, I'm just bummed out.

Moving -- whether you or someone you're close to is doing it -- is always hard. I left behind all my friends and my support system almost 2 years ago and I still haven't quite adjusted.

The good news is, they're just moving -- you can still talk to them, send pictures and videos, etc., and even go visit. In the short term, though, I know that isn't much consolation.

It's good that you're talking to your T. You're certainly welcome to vent here. depressed and alone Do you have anything you can do to get your mind off things? I know the last thing you want to do when you're depressed is get out of the house, but it really can make a difference.

I have to move and I really don't want to. I mean, I'm so dependent it's scary. I'm also stupid, so... I don't know anymore...

Thanks for the reply. Even though I don't want to, I'm going to a cousin's graduation party this afternoon. I haven't seen any relatives since my grandmother passed away last year. It will be good to catch up on what everyone is doing.

My sister and I arranged to have a webcam so we will be able to check in and see each other online. So that will help. I know it won't be the same, but I need find other things to do to keep my mind off things.

Having people move away to very hard, but remember they are still with us and 2000 miles isn't really that far. Maybe you can get a picture phone or webcam for each computer so you could talk and see each other.

I hope below saying helps you!

I'm wishing you.
Bright and sunny days,
His light to surround you
Helping you to find your way.

I'm wishing you.
Comfort for the nights,
Peaceful dreams so sweet
God's angels holding you tight.

I'm wishing you.
Smiles for all the tears,
Love that goes on forever
Happiness through the years.

I'm wishing you.
This and so much more,
My wishes are only prayers
That strengthens wings to soar...
