this is one of those unfortunate days.
I don't even know why I just got so... depressed today. I thought I was fine this morning, I was almost on top of the world it felt like. everything seemed amazing, i even looked in the mirror and thought i looked tolerable for once, but then a couple hours ago IT hit me really hard. I'm so depressed right now, I can't even take it. I thought me meds were supposed to help with this.

My doctor thinks there's a chance I might even be bi-polar... Does anyone know the main symptems for that? I don't really think that I am though, however it does run on one side of my family.

Hey ((((((((breakdown))))))))))))

There is a bipolar forum, but here's what I found on this website, which hopefully helps:

</font><blockquote><div id="quote"><font class="small">Quote:</font>
Bipolar disorder, also known by its older name “manic depression,” is a mental disorder that is characterized by constantly changing moods. A person with bipolar disorder experiences alternating “highs” (what clinicians call “mania“) and “lows” (also known as depression). Both the manic and depressive periods can be brief, from just a few hours to a few days, or longer, lasting up to several weeks or even months. The periods of mania and depression range from person to person — many people may only experience very brief periods of these intense moods, and may not even be aware that they have bipolar disorder.

From http://psychcentral.com/disorders/bipolar/

OR http://psychcentral.com/disorders/sx20.htm

I have heard that bipolar can have a stronger genetic component than some mental illnesses, but it is not 100% by any means. There are also different kinds, and you may not fulfil all the criteria, which is pretty normal.

I'm sorry your day took such a nose-dive. That's always the worst feeling.

i cant help you with the diagnosis but i will say that swings are something ive had to deal with also in the past.. glad you are able to see some days are better tho..... those might be good days to remind yourself how far you've come.. dont let yourself get dragged down by the distance ahead.. hopefully, you will always have some distance remaining.. when the distance ends, you probably have joined the hereafter... so enjoy now when you can.. some days are just worse than others
