I've prayed to who I believe in, I've kept busy, I have read inspirational stuff, I have written my own stuff, I have been on here, noone seemed interested in coming into support chat ..... i have thought positive thoughts, i have looked on here and tried to take advice as to what to do when feeling this way ......NOTHING
still feel very low ...... think i am meant to be like this forever ....... c'est la vie ........ |

Feelings suck when they seem to just go on and on. I wouldn't worry about the thinking positive thoughts, just try and go about your daily life and accept that right now you feel crap, its the trying to change it is where the conflict comes into play. Hope you feel better soon.

thanks Mouse ..... my son just got up .... how ad is that at 3pm .... yes I know i should put my foot down ..... i cant be arsed with the conflict .....
my hubby is on 12 hour shifts 3 on 3 off ...... i need to go back to work .... i've never not worked until this depression hit .... but i'm so shy of going to be back with people and what will i do on my bad days .... like today????? pfffft life sux. Period. I wish i could work from home ..... perfect ....... ![]() |

I know how you feel, I feel like crap most days and I post here myself but no one really replies to them, and I'm afraid to go on to the chat rooms, I feel I don't belong there. But if I feel that way, maybe others feel the same and that is why there is never anyone there. I don't know what to tell you about working when you feel like crap, when I did work I cried most days at my desk, stayed to myself and hated everyone. The only thing you can do, is when you feel like your about to break down, go an take a short walk, take deep breathes or even go to your car a screem to release stress. One thing all the counselors say is drink, drink, drink plenty of water, when you body lacks water, it also contributes to our feelings. They also say take fish oil tablets w/ omega, and vitamin B-12, cut back on sugars and caffine.

It is so hard when you go through a rough spell. I always find it difficult to not feel quite like yourself and to feel like there isn't much you can do about it. Rough patches don't last forever (I promise). Sometimes the best you can do is to accept that you don't feel good and let that be the place you live in for the day. It doesn't mean you stop gettin up and eat ingor going to work, it just means that you give yourself breathing room...to not be functioning at 100%. It takes a lot of courage to be present to feelings of ickiness. I applaud you and will keep you in my thoughts/prayers.

You are so much more creative than I, a frog of little brain.
It is so difficult when you feel you are doing things to help yourself improve and nothing happens. Like my youngest son is so happy to point out ( when I least want him too) some days are worse, some days are worser. To which I respond: "Thank you that is just what I wanted to hear." I get so discouraged sometimes because I feel I'm doing the right things for nothing. Is it possible to do the right things the wrong way? I just don't know. ((((( jinnyann )))))

my problem is and always has been (well one of them) being ignored..... it triggers ..... it hurts ...... it drives me insane ..... i know i should not bother what others think of me ... i suppose it is selfish.....i know the whole world does not revolve around me or my problems .... but joining this site is the first time in my life i have spoken about ME ....
This is bizzare, but i just watchedan episode of Who's line is it, Ryan Styles makes me laugh EVERY time .... that laughter lightened my mood some ..... I just love the US version of Wh's line is it anyway...... Jin xx |

I dont think that anyone is meant to feel this way forever..Though it seems we do and it seems like its neverending I cant help but think it cant be bad all the time???....Were just in a really long rut and eventually were all break away......

yes, healing takes time and it's different for different people. I have been sad for a great many years, sometimes when i feel happy i dont think it's going to last .... i have to keep telling myself it is ok to feel happy .... that's the hard part ... we're here together ..... that helps, love, Jin xxx |
