I suspect this won't help you much (it doesn't help me much), but I think there are links in our brains back to former (bad) times, and even small setbacks in the present can send us back to those times.

Hi;

It's the depression that makes our minds dwell on the bad instead of the good, we just have to learn to stomp on the evil thoughts and fight to be the good forward more often. Just take baby steps to stop those thoughts and think of a special place that made you happy and at peace. I'm sorry you're feeling low, but I wish you joy soon.

hang on honey. there must be some things that you can think of which won't trigger the depression. please try to find a safe place inside of yourself if you can.
i used to listen to a classical music radio station all night hoping it would help me fall asleep. it ever did help that way but trying to do that kept my anxiety and depression manageable. nowadays i'd know enough about the situation to ask my doc for a seroquel and then suck it up. but i am not a pdoc after all.
best of luck dear,
pi
