Hello IckyDog. Welcome to the forums. It sounds like you are feeling very much alone. I hope you will take the time to find a counselor or therapist to talk with. If you are in school, there is probably a counselor there that you can see. Family Services in most cities has a sliding scale that is affordable for most people. Look in the Yellow Pages for your town and see what is there.

Please keep coming back and let us know how you are doing.

(((((((((( safe hugs)))))))))))

I'm sorry you are going through such a difficult time. I can understand how people can dissapoint you, and the pain of abandonment and lonliness is so hard. Remember there are those who love you. We here care about you. Feel free to message any of us anytime. Also remember, that even though your pastor retired, that he gave you something lasting inside you. Something that would stay with you when your gone. Use his encouragement and your faith to pull you through.

People just DON'T understand.. it has nothing to do with you, or us...

case in point, my sister spoke to me about things our mother might need, and my sister expects me to do this. I mentioned that I was in the ER myself last Monday... PTSD... flashback. She had no idea what I meant or why I would be at the ER... AND SHE'S A NURSE!!! So, some ppl will try to understand, and others won't.

We here at psychcentral DO understand depression. I hope you will find a T to help you understand it better, too. What's happening
