I'm not going to beg people to send me a private message, but I'm just curious if others posting here have connected more easily than I have.

On the two forums that I go to, I have posted about 130 times just this month. Apparently, nothing I have to say has been of any particular interest to anybody, because all I've heard is silence.

Have I sent PMs to others? Yes, a couple of times. Never heard anything back.

Maybe these forums are a waste of time.

hi trev, when i first came to pc it took me some time to establish ppl i pm-ed to and vice versa. i know it's difficult to feel left out but i assure you i have not felt that way about you. matter of fact i usually read your posts when i see them.
you can also reach out to others by sending them a friend request. when i read someone's post that i could relate to in some way, that's exactly what i did. another way is to welcome the newer members and send them a friend request. they are scared and perhaps lonely and seeing that pm in their mailbox will make their day. it's "paying if forward" and by doing so i think you will find you may have more pms than you can answer. lol. we all care for you, t, so don't ever feel alone. we are all here for you and we care. i do.

Thanks for your interest. I really don't know what I expect anyone to do for me. I'm too depressed to be any "fun" to be with. I don't think I'm worth anybody's time, ultimately.

Hey Trevorzero, I often feel that way too. But sometimes I am just too depressed to write back to anyone on a personal note too. I think it all just comes with time.

Hey Treavor, I'm not much of a person for PMs. I'd rather see a response to my post. There are a lot of people here with a lot of different problems. Try not to take it personally. Just give people a hand supporting them and you'll be appreciated!

Things are looking up a bit. I guess everyone who really wants to get some PMs just needs to speak up like I did. Thanks to everyone who has written.

glad u did speak up, t. sitting in the "darkness" can be a lonely place. what u did was put a "light" on the subject.

I hope anyone who wants to get some more personal contact will make their wishes known, like I did.

We need each other!

Trevor,
It was a good question and you got some good advice...

I'd like to add that others that read it--lurkers/shy ones--may feel more comfortable sharing now that you have broken the ice.
Ya done good!
