How is everyone doing...sometimes this board can go awhile without any activity...and all my doctors tell me no news is good news.....wich isn't always the case, it's more like well do you want me to call you everytime something is wrong...i could but you would probably stop treating me...lol

Anywayz wanted to check in with everyone..hopefully i will get feedbacks, i really do care

Personally for me, things are stable at the moment nothing better nothing worse...i will take anything i can get so that will suit me just fine for the time being while it lasts...just trying to get rid of these pesky allergies (which i hope it is) intensive massage courses i'm taking is stirring up all these toxins in my body and having a hayday but no complaints becasue it is sunny outside.

Hi Racee ~ Jeez, I'm sorry you have allergies. That must be miserable! there's nothing worse than sneezing all the time and having a stuffed up nose. That would drive me insane! Plus it gives you a headache!

I was doing ok (well kind of - I'm a chronic painer) until my doc did an EKG - now the ticker is acting up. Been waiting a week for his stupid nurse to get me a referral to a cardiologist. It shouldn't take a WEEK. Sheesh.

Anyway -- thanks for asking! Again I hope you feel better very soon! Hugs, Lee

Thankfully things are stable, I guess. Better than worse! Allergies are never real fun. I've noticed that when I'm under excess stress, that's when my body has blow-outs. Seizures, migraines, GERD, etc. It seems that I can only handle X amount of stress (physical and emotional) at one time. When the it exceeds my limits, the stress comes out somehow.

Know what I mean?

Personally, I'm pretty much the same. Waiting for a visit to the Gastroenterologist anxiously. A snow truck backed into my car yesterday (as I was pulling into the driveway to park). Crashed into the driver's door, the window shattered into tiny pieces all over the place! Also snapped the side mirror down. Always a load of stuff for me to deal with. Yah-freaking-who!

I'm pretty stressed now that I think of it. I woke up this morning with freakin pink eye, my throat killing me, my car is a POS & all I have is liability insurance. The driver said that it was my fault, because I should know better than to pull into a parking lot with a plow there. A- hole! I gave him my insurance card, and he gave me his cell phone number. What a guy . Dammit! Just ticks me off....

^^^what a jerk! good thing is more or less if it's your side (of car) all smashed or whatever usually always other drivers fault! (tons of expierence on how to deal with insurance companies...what to say and accidents...not caused by me..)

so allergies all gone..woohoo that was a horrible mess...yet i got exactly 0 hours of sleep tonite ..and i would rather be up than in bed not being comfortable...why lay there in pain being useless..when you can be sitting there in pain doing something (my new motto)

well i did clean my kitchen just took 2 days but i did it gonna move on toanother part of the house, i am forcing myself to do the things that i normally wouldn't because of my limitations...but i am also feeling like i am useless and almost to the point of worthless so i need to keep moving...even if it does mean no sleep. i'm sure it will catch up with me and i will be passed out on the couch.

I'd assumed that it was his fault. But the insurance company told me today that I was reasoned to be 25% responsible for being backed into. I should have honked my horn, yelled, or backed up, as I had a bit of time before he actually hit me.

The biatch is that my TBI makes me slower at processing info and reasoning abilities. Just a couple of seconds before he backed into me is wwhen I finally realized that he couldn't see me & that I needed to move. Too late! He crashed into my side mirror and driver's window. At least I turned my head to the other side ~ as the glass pieces went everwhere. You can bet I'm kicking myself real hard for this stupid accident now.

On a more positive note, glad to hear that your allergies aren't bothering you. *Knock on wood* I hope that you can get some much-needed rest soon. Best wishes to you!

hopefully your insurance company didn't tell you that...if they did lousy people handling your case....on the other hand the other persons insurance company will do anything and tell you anything to get you to feel bad about it and coerce you to say it's my fault.,..which you should never do even if it is your fault. u didn't even know he was going to hit you you thought he saw you so why would a horn be needed?
insurance company's are hard to come by the ones on your side but i have noticed the more expensive ones are always there to fight for you. they don't want to pay out and will fight tooth and nail

oh and also another thing you should know when the other peoples insurance calls you you have the right to refuse to talk to them and tell them you want your lawyer or your insurance guy/girl who is handling your case to be on a conference call with them..everything is taped and they could help you out especially if they say or ask you things they are not allowed to..it's kinda like if the police take you in to get questioned and having the whole having lawyer there thing

Hmmm...I hadn't thought of calling my insurance company, to tell them what the other company had decided. I guess that I'll give that a try on Monday. Thanks racee!
