Hello. Yeston Erik here.
By now, you must all know we HATE our T, but now I'm going to let it all out.
First of all, she talks to us like we're not even born. It is SO irritating! One day she called and asked if The Host's Grandmother was there in a normal voice. Mimi was out, and she asked who it was. It was the T, so quick as a whip I came out (I usually deal with her). T asked if it was The Host, and I said "yes" Then she goes into BABY MODE!! this has happened TWICE!!
Every session she'll do this: Let's say I say that Nellie likes red. The T will lean forword in her chair, stare into my eyes, and say, "And why does Nellie like red, *Host*?"
Which leads me to ANOTHER thing that bothers me!!! It's usually me that's out (although Kay and Webber were out once), and no matter HOW many times I tell her who is out, she says, "No, I'm talking to YOU *Host*, But you can TELL me about Yeston!" She did that to Kay and Webber, too! When Kay was out, he mentioned he has brusies all over his arms from the morphine. The T ACTULLY lifted up his sleeves and Kay said, almost yelling, "Not *Host*, me!" T said, "oh, Kay must be hurting alot!"
SEE why we hate her????? she drives us CRAZY!!!!!!! I've been told by many I'm the nicest one here, and when I want to slay the T, That's BAD! I don't know how much longer It will be before I, or someone else, explodes! Not much longer, I know that! We'll get the Host in MORE trouble, but we are SICK ot this T!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry this T does not seem to be working out. Have you considered finding a new T?

We can't! The Host's grandma said we've gone through enough--we've has five in three years!

Host turns 18 in October-I'm 20.
Still, I dought we'll have a say-Host is not able to take care of herself very well.

I about lost it with T today. I kept repeating our bloody problem to her, and she kept asking what she could do to make it better. I kept telling her, and she ignored me!!!!

Webber, do you realize that making threats against your T here, whether venting or intentional is offensive and upsetting to others who read this? Not to mention completely inappropriate. If you wish to have support, that kind of volatility is entirely unlikely to attract it. You're smart - think about a better way to get what you want, as threats will not do it.

I'm sorry too, actually, because I realized after that probably the anger was a front for fear. Still, one of teh most important things we all learn in therapy is about boundaries and it takes time. I'm sure you do understand that explosive words have consequences and whatever I may have felt, the consequences for you are far more important. I hope you will find a way to express whatever it is you need to say, for it is not the contect per se that is a problem but how it is said can be.
I'm sorry you do not feel heard by your T. When I have felt that way I found that writing helping me organize my thoughts and even if it took a lot of words, eventually i was able to get to the heart of the problem. Perhaps you might try that and see if it works for you. It might not, but if it does you could find an outlet that you have not had before and it will lead to a release of some strong and unmanageable emotions. I hope you find peace.

Please try to trust the therapy process, your T is trying to get some dialogue going between the alters. It sounds to me like your T does know what she is doing. I know it is frustrating but please keep going!

How do you mean "Dialogue"? All of us talk to eachother quite well, exept for two...could you explain what you mean better, please?
We don't know if we can ever go back again...it was so terrible...

Usually people with DID have problems with 'going away,' losing time when another alter is upfront, not being there etc and the point of therapy is to get communication and 'awareness' so that you have a full life.

Erik, I am still confused. You say the host is female. Yet the name Erik is male. I have seen Manda call you Dad and another member call you Uncle, and you are married to Karen. So how is it that you are female? In order to support and help you, I need you to be upfront with me.

Host is female. Some others with us are, too, but The Host and the other females are never out on here (Exept for one, who is Manda's and Kat's 'mother' so to speak.) Do I need to explain more? I would be glad too, if need be; we appriceate your trying to help.

maybe if you can't find one, do you think all of you could write your current T a letter? that way everyone will get a say about what upsets them about her behaviour, and she won't keep asking Host and maybe she can address all of you in her response.

i'm sorry if this isn't a good idea, i am not very sure about how therapy with alters works, but i can tell you are hurting and i want help. maybe i can just offer hugs?

Well, I am totally confused. I don't follow who is who even though someone tried to explain in your signature. I have recently started working with my T. I have been around for a long time and I was very secretive. I identify with your anger. I don't understand why there have to be consequences for me showing my anger. My T says that I am trying to pick a fight with her but that is not true. I feel so misunderstood by her. SHE was the one that WANTED me to come forward like six months ago and now that I am she doesn't seem to like me or want me to be me. Well I am going for now I am going to chat.

I'm not sure, but I think some people may be confused about what gender the body is.

You told us the host is female; I think some might be wondering if the gender of the body is female as well....?

I (the host/body) am female, but I do have a few male alters.

Body is female, too. Technecly, all of us Eriks are alters...we are, however, aware of our real bodies when we're out (which can be problomatic..)
