thank you people for the kindness. today is day twenty-eight at increased dose of medication. very unpleasant and pdoc is urging another two to four weeks if possible.
sure.........why would we need sleep? or to eat? or to function? we can just ride out the side effects every day for another month. it isn't like our life matters during these times. harumph! cranky about this and feeling so discouraged at this being yet another solid attempt at a med trial that appears to not be working out. (not that we know anything after all these years and all these med trials and what this body has been through....) between the medications and with medicare kicking in soon all benefits change so in another month finances switch back to precariously tight from slight breathing room. been taking dog to ocean w/ friend. so far seems to be weekly date. made conscious choice to plug back into a certain community IRL and that is requiring focus and time. so far feels like a good choice. thanks again for remaining yourselves and not pulling tricks. __zh

I'm sorry to hear things are so tough for you. Hopefully the effects from the meds with become tolerable soon, and perhaps you're getting support from the community IRL?

Sorry to be so late to this thread, you gave me all the first useful links to check.  We hope you feel better soon, but if the meds are stopping you sleeping altogether, we're not sure you should continue for another month, could you get your Doc to reassess after another 2 weeks (we know that's bad enough), but most meds that will ever work for you do it in 6 weeks or not at all.
