For the last several months things have been really out of control for me and mine. Well the last year. Have a problem with keeping up with time. But anyways I've lived on a no harm contract with my T for over a year. And it's had to be used on more then one occation. I've had what seemed to be almost manic episodes along with depression. Well we finually have gotten things figured out. Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD ) and I've started on a medication that is really working now. I came to a point where my therapy had almost completely stopped. I was unable to do any work in therapy and had just become this suicidal lump on my T's couch. Going no where in T, just trying to stay alive from appointment to appointment. I'm not sure if everything just came to a breaking point when my brother became sick? I just know I was falling a part long before he became sick. Now I have the 2 dx'es to deal with. Like DID was ever simple? So now DID/ GAD. My medication is doing a really good job so far. I was just wondering if anyone else has a dx of GAD here?

I have GAD with major depression (that's what the hospital said) and my T suspects DID elements as well. In a sense I don't care; I just know it's lousy to live with. Sorry you have to as well.
