I am currently diagnosed with schizophrenia and while some of this makes sense the 'big picture' does not.

When I was dating my boyfriend we would get into these large fights over the phone I would scream and yell (this is what he told me) because I dont remember it. I remember feeling a 'wave' wash over me and suddenly feeling very confused. I've also had an out of body experience. I was staring at myself from myself. Except what I was looking at was evil. Does this sound like dissociation problems? Thank you for reading.

It could be dissociation, but only a trained professional could tell you what's going on there.

Dissociation is a normal reaction in all humans...at relaxing times as well as in response to stress. Because one dissociates does not make it a clear indication that there's a dx of DID.

Good luck, hon!

Welcome to PC. You may want to discuss this with your pdoc who can diagnose you and most likely has more info. Maybe you can tell them more info if you haven't already.
