Lost my job, what is there else to say.
My husband is in school full time and doesn't work.
I lose my insurance, lose my T cause I can't afford to pay.
My medicines cost over $400 a month for my heart and lung plus depression medications. Going to see about getting samples so I can at least take my heart meds.

I talked to someone earlier today about going back into voc rehab. Hoping that they can take me back into that program.

Spent most of the day crying. Didn't used to cry. I don't know what else to do. Just really confused.

I'm so sorry!!!!!!! Is there a way for you to challenge the fact that you lost your job. You know mental illnesses are covered in the disabilities act so if any ilness caused some action for which they fired you, you can seek recompense. Hope you are ok.

I'm sorry to hear that.

Like EV says it might be worth checking to see what you can do if your job was lost due to health reasons, but if not then I hope you find a new job quickly.

I'm trying to be Ok ev.
I've cried a lot these last couple of days. After I looked at who they let go it made sense to me. They let everyone go who have been here for years. The only ppl they rehired were ppl that had only been here for a year or so. So I think it all comes down to money. They kept the ppl on a lower pay rate. It's not fair !!! But it's better that I've gotten out now. I think it's going to be crazy and their case loads are going to increase, so more work and low pay.

So I'm getting Ok with what's happened. But it's still those feeling of I'm not good enough and I'm a failure. Is hard right now.

Last night my T brought me the want adds and had circled all the jobs that he thought I would be interested in. He was so supportive. I really needed to hear what he said.

Ty for caring about me allthegirls

I have a couple of months worth of samples now. So I hope that gets me through till I get a job. And if I get a job, but my insurance doesn't kick in for awhile I know a woman who can help me get my meds. She can help me if I have a job, but no insurance.

I talked to T last night about how much he's going to charge for sessions. His normal fee is $110 for each session. But he said he would only charge me $63 and would let me pay what I could. So he said he would let me make payments of what I could afford. With everything going on I need the support of T right now.

Rainbowzz, I'm sorry that you understand how I feel. Just brings up tons of feelings. Then you have to wonder, did the others cause trouble? Did they do something to bring this on? I'm just feeling worthless right now.

I'm so sorry this happened to you and you are right, it's not fair! You do sound like you are being proactive in ways to help yourself and that is good. I will keep very positive thoughts for you right now.

Hugs, Anne

Hi all

I'm having a really hard time trying to find a job. Just not much out there. I applied for a position at the hospital that's only a PRN thing.

I ended up going back to the unversity and applying for the nursing program there. Since I've already graduated with another degree 6 years ago I just need the nursing classes and should finish it in 2 years. But I still need something at least part time for car payment and food and things like that.

This thursday will be my last day of T. I can't afford to pay for sessions without insurance. T offered me a low rate, but I still can't afford that.

(((monty girl))) Please reconsider seeing T. This is a time when you need the ongoing support. Don't let losing your job take you downhill quickly. Try and take the lower rate and a delayed payment plan Lost my Job T doesn't want to lose any of the progress you and T have made, either. Lost my Job

Ok...good wishes on finding something.

I hope one of the new leads on jobs works out. Maybe your T can work something out. Maybe it is worth exploring with her. Good luck and I am thinking of you.
