wizard of oz.

you know I watched the wizard of oz so much as a child that I can almost quote the movie

judy garland is fantastic as dorothy.

does anyone still think about what life may have been like without this disorder?, or are you too busy dealing with the psymptoms

I also watched the Wizard of Oz so very many times!! I wished I was Dorothy with the red sparkly shoes. The flying monkeys terrified me! I always covered my eyes.

I so wish I knew what life would have been like, had things been different. Although, I wouldn't want to change anything that would alter my two boys from my life. They are two pieces of my heart that I could not live without.

Would you go back and change your past, if it changed what you cherish now?

It isn't a childhood movie but I watched O' Brother Where Art Thou as a child and memorized it along with the made for t.v. movie Lonesome Dove. I'm weird in that I really didn't get into cartoon and animated moves until I was Teen.

What is your favorite T.V. show current or past?

I drive a car and most of the others do too except for the little ones and the two that are afraid of driving.

Do you like fireworks?

Sniffing playdoh. Nothing wakes up my little one faster than this and so, when I need help...

Do you ever skip answering questions here because you're too embarrassed to answer them? I haven't yet, but questions like the one I just answered make it tough.

Yes, of course.
There are some answers I do not want to share.

Are most of your clothes one particular color?

Most of my clothes are neutral colored tops with jeans. Thats what I'm comfortable in most of the time. My running and yoga colors are bright pinks, greens and coral with black. I don't know why the difference.

Do you find that the clothes colors you choose to wear are different depending on what you are dong.

Some of us like dogs and some of us don't.
Where we were staying was a lady who had a little puppy called Thomas and he was so very very very cute. We have never owned a dog but after playing with Thomas we would like to get a little dog one day.

Do you get housework done?

no.

we used to have a lady in every friday to do ironing and any other stuff we asked her to do, but we don't have her now
oh we do the basic stuff, wash dishes, do laundry, take out the trash, but no way is our house the queen's castle.

really don't see the point, and it is totally overrated anyway

do you have good physical health?

Oh my, no. I've got a couple of years left tops, unless I am able to quit working, which doesn't seem likely.

Are you an introvert or an extrovert at heart? I know that many of us isolate because of dissociative challenges but we might want something different than the practical.

I was a gabby gums as a child but as an adult I really like my alone time. I'm not sure if it ties in with my MI but I do believe that my self-esteem is one of the reasons I'm not as social as I was when I was younger. That and I feel like I'm a total failure as an adult.

Do you like to garden?

I love to garden! Yup, yup, yup. I am not able to right now but I am hopeful that things will change and I will be able to again.

What is your favorite food that comes out of a garden?

Lay in the sun and be left alone. Music in the background and not thinking.

What do you feel like your purpose here is?

Here? On this forum? To heal thyself.
Here, in this life? To live. To be, until I am not.
No more, no less.

Same question for the next person.

they say everyone was put here on earth for a purpose, but I have no idea what mine is.

maybe my purpose is to figure out my purpose?

(look at that guy in avenue Q, took him ages to realise what he was here for)

i'm no animated puppet, but you can get my drift.

are you a fan of chocolate?
