Do you find this true....that traits an Other is missing another Other possesses? Like one has no compassion while another is oozing with it? And if you were to mix and blend them all together you would have a complete person with all traits intact?

I feel this is true. What does it feel like to not have limitations and walls in ones mind?
Thanks for this!

yes each of my alters had their own sense of agency that made them different than each other including what and who they were, what their jobs, purpose, reasons for being created were. what emotions they handled and so much more...

example

Rainy was my sad depressed full of fear alter, she took control any time there was a storm or sad depressed situaiton or anytime there was something to fear.
Thelma was my intimacy alter, she took control of anything to do with closeness, intimacy romance, dating....
Red was my very angry alter. anything anger red was it.

they were each limited in who and what they were based on their sense of agency.

what is it like to have no limits and walls... my location calls this integration and it feels good, bad scary you name it because there are no limits and walls, because Im integrated I now have a full range of emotions and can deal with everything all on my own.

I do understand what you are saying and I agree. There is a part or parts of me that are creative. Last year I started making fairy gardens. Something just "came" to me and it's like they created themselves. It was such a calming thing for me and came, what seemed, so naturally. About 3 or 4 months ago, it went away. I have my green house full of plants and every time I think about putting one together, it's like something that is foreign to me.

I'm not sure of what is going on with it. Stress has been pretty thick these past few months, and I don't know if that is playing a factor in it or not.

It's a very strange kind of feeling. It's like I lost a part of myself.

Yes...I've got stuff sitting around I no interest in. This even dives deep into emotions, like one can love another can't...etc.

We gave away all our musical gear because Trebor has since gone somewhat dormant....but he let it be known that he's pissed about it.

We have some we call sad ones. Thats mostly all they do is be sad all the time. We got our angry grrrrlz to. We dont have a lot of angry guys only a few. Were compartmentalized in a lot of ways. Most certainly with emotions. Its more then angry and sad but yeah thats us to.

It's so hard being an incomplete person....to know that you are suppose to feel compassion but there is a wall, hole, nothing where it's suppose to be. I can feel the walls. It's frustrating to being denied what everyone enjoys so freely. I feel mentally ill.

heres a thought and suggestion. I couldnt do much of this but I know others that do and can....

when you notice you are having that wall/hole problem maybe you can ask inside for the answer to what ever you are having trouble with doing or remembering, kind of like your posts where you stated you switched very fast based on who does the driving, who does this or that. maybe what you cant remember is because the others are taking care of what ever it is that you feel is missing.

ways of communicating with your alters....

some people ask inside (this is when you mentally not verbally ask or say something to the alters, then the alters either answer you or when they are in control they answer your question in some way)

writing to the alters (this is where you physically sit down with writing supplies or at your computer and write a letter or note to your alters, then the alters that can answer back in same form of communication or as a voice in your head)

verbally (some people with co consciousness are able to speak to their alters verbally and their alters speak back by either verbally or talking inside)

it may not be you experiencing being one whole person until integration happens but at least you will be more informed with whats going on with you and your alters day to day lives. your treatment provider can help you to set up which ever form of communication that works best for you (these I listed or others, there are many forms of communication between each other alters and those that they reside with in)

Thank you, I will try. When it comes to emotions....it's so isolated feeling...like you are on your own which is scary.
