I've been dealing with this **** intermittently for about 6 years now, and I can hardly put into words how much it has impacted my life.

No one I know can relate, and even my doctors only have a vague idea of what I'm experiencing. They have no idea how to cure it.

I feel so alone with this, and I'm losing all hope that it will ever get better

I understand what you are saying. I wish there were words that I could give you for comfort, but I struggle with this myself.

I'm coming to accept it for what it is and not freak out, that was just my reaction. That was until I started sorting everything out. Now, it's not so foreign and scary to me. For me, it seems to be emotional triggers that I try to fit the pieces together for.

Sometimes that works. Other times, I just try to go with it and know that I'm ok.

Thanks a lot, it's really good to hear that I'm not the only one struggling with this!! I'm trying to learn to just accept it, but it's pretty hard. But I'm much less freaked out by it now than I was at the start, so that's at least something!

Thank you very much, that was hugely insightful! Do you know if the combination of escilatopram and lamictal mentioned at the end brought any success? Coincidentally that is exactly what I'm taking for my bipolar at the moment!

No, I know very little about meds and seldom take any.
