edit: I spent 3 hours on flickr seeing pretty pictures and I never could figure out how to upload even one of them. Some were truly art an no one in my whole system of alts can learn how to upload ONE dumb picture. I feel hopelessly feeble and old. I would cuss right here, but I know we are not sposed to do that on here. No cuss words would really make me feel better. My spouse is a software engineer and I can't ask him to help me because of where I am. I don't let him into my life like that anymore because he didn't believe me when I told him the truth of what they did to me and how it made me split. If I can't be believed, what do we have...28 years of pretense. No wonder my littles are so angry and upset. My marriage is a sham; it makes me feel like a w@#@#. I trade my self for food and shelter. I know I'm being melodramatic and I'm full of self-pity tonight. I do not know how to DO anger. Anger throws me off so badly because used to anger could mean serious pain, harm or death-that's what they told me. Anger is scary and ugly, but real.

I wish I could come over and help you figure out this avatar thing! I don't know how I figured it out - I'm so not a computer person. I think I got lucky!

My kids need breakfast right now, but I will come back later to see if I can figure it out. If you are willing to let someone to sign onto your account and you tell them what avatar you want, they could probably put it on for you. And then you could change your password so your account would be private again. At least, I *think* that would work! I'm still drinking my first cup of coffee!

We'll figure this out!

I found my avatar and saved it in "my pictures" on the computer then linked to it. My siggy I found and saved it in photobucket and linked from there. It took me a while as I am not very computer savvy but it worked.

If someone else helps you make one you may ask them how to link it to your settings. Once it is made or saved and with some direction it is not that hard to link to. Have you tried technical support too? Many people there are very good at this type of thing.

I FLIPPED OUT OVER MY HELPLESSNESS ON THE SILLY COMPUTER, BUT I FINALLY REALIZED I WAS ALSO REALLY ANGRY OVER FEELING HELPLESS TO HELP MY DAUGHTER. SHE'S TEACHING HER FIRST YEAR OF SPECIAL ED AND LANDED IN A MOST DIFFICULT POSITION. HER DAD, MY SPOUSE IS SUPER-COMPETENT AND PERFORMANCE BASED AND SARAH EXPECTED TOO MUCH FROM HERSELF AND CRASHED AND BURNED AND THOUGHT SHE WAS HAVING A BREAKDOWN - SHE'S GETTING AN ALTERNATIVE CERTIFICATE SO SHE ISN'T FULLY EDUCATED FOR WHAT SHE'S DOING SO SHE IS BEHIND THE LEARNING CURVE FOR REAL. BUT WHEN SHE CRASHED SHE WAS AFRAID SHE WAS BECOMING LIKE ME.

NOTHING PUSHES MY BUTTONS HARDER THAN THE CONCERN OF HOW MY DYSFUNCTION AND PAIN AND DID HAVE AFFECTED MY PRECIOUS CHILDREN. I WANT MORE THAN ANYTHING FOR THIS TO STOP IN MY GENERATION SO MY CHILDREN HAVE FREEDOM TO HAVE ONLY REGULAR TYPE PROBLEMS. THE SATANISTS NEVER TOUCHED MY BABIES AND I DO THANK GOD FOR THAT, BUT I DO KNOW THEY HAD SOME INSECURITIES WITH A MOM WHO SWITCHED BACK AND FORTH AROUND THEM ALL THE TIME. IT MUST HAVE BEEN PRETTY WEIRD SOME DAYS.
