i accepted the DID diagnosis today but after I left therapy i wasn't doing well actually i wasn't even focused in there.

Yeah....when I did my interviews with my DID specialists, I wasn't there either. I barely remember my first one, which was only about 3 weeks ago. I don't even remember what the PsyD looked like. I switched right in the middle of the interview and I don't think I ever fully returned after that till after I got home.
![]() I am glad you were able to accept it!! Don't be to hard on yourself if you notice the acceptance waxing and waning a bit for a while. I still do that. At times I tell myself that I DON'T have DID and that I'm just F***** up! ![]() I am going to post later about something I experienced to day....but I need to be somewhere soon so....till later!!

You took a huge step today. Be gentle with yourself. Not focusing is a way to protect yourself from being overwhelmed. I'll be thinking of you and sending thoughts of healing, like a bandaid, a protective layer over your heart.
