the little girl.... i left her there... waiting for me... left her waiting on the curbside, til i was stronger, til it was safe enough for her to come back to me....
i found her. she cried last night... she's been crying a lot lately. so happy to finally see me again, i embrace her and let her tears flow.... but i have to stop her cuz it hurts me to see her so distressed from all those years of abuse.. she's just a little girl. maybe 7, 8 .. she doesnt speak. i took her in. she can stay there and find comfort in me. i feel as if i can carry her, since she is so small, and i have become stronger. but i do not want her to come out like she used to, and she would cry in front of people. if she does that again i will have to leave her again. and id hate to do that to her cuz she is just a little girl. |

You are stronger now that you've found her. She was waiting for you to be strong enough and now that you are this next part begins. Please don't think you'll have to leave her if she starts crying. It may sound scary but you have a lot in common with this little girl and you can get used to her tears just like she'll get used to your strong opinions and ways!
![]() I'm so pained to read of this innocent little girl suffering so much. Good thing she now has you as an adult capable of fighting for safety and healing for both of you/all of you. No hugs for the hug phobic but good wishes instead? ![]() |

My abuse happened at or before age 7 so I have at least 2 seven y/o's inside. One doesn't talk to anybody & the other is like air, she's so hidden, nobody can find her.
I'm glad you found your little girl. A sign you are stronger now. Love, RhysMadison |
