Don't you just hate this:

You get to the low weights where your treatment team yells at you and people compliment you on how great you look.

Then when you get to the weight where your treatment team want you to be and then people either don't compliment you or tell you that you're gaining weight.

Hell, my own mother tells me that I'm getting fat even though she knows that I almost died from this disease. I don't get it.

Why can't people keep their damned pie holes shut and quit bringing up weight all the time?

I couldn't agree more. Well said. I hate it almost as much when people ask me if I've lost weight as when they ask me if I've gained weight. People should STFU about weight issues, unless they are talking about their own!

I feel ya! Let's put it this way: there's just a lot of people out there who are too close-minded, and caught up in their own lives to even register the effects of what they do and don't say can have on others! Those people who comment on when your weight is down obviously have their own self esteem issues and are too consumed with our societies obsession of being stick thin, especially if they have never been in your shoes, so to speak. Just try your best not to pay them any mind, their too wrapped up in themselves to really think before they speak.
