That's good Jet keep posting that's what PC is here for Over Eating are these regular meals you are talking about? (breakfast, lunch, dinner) or are you eating because of boredom, anxiety, depression. I usually eat excessively when I'm going through those feelings. If so try to stock up on healthy snacks when the urge arises or try to occupy your time doing somthing else like taking a walk (if it's a convenient to do so).
Take care

You may want to look at this description of Binge Eating Disorder and see if it looks familiar.

Although this sounds trite, I love this sentiment..."It's not what you're eating, it's what's eating you." I think at the very outset, it is important to put aside the negative self-judgement. Try to look at binges as your body telling you that there's something going wrong in your life. Then ask yourself, "what am I feeling?" Focusing on the feelings is the key to ending the binges.

Some books that can be helpful are "Overcoming Overeating" and "When Women Stop Hating Their Bodies" (sorry, I can't remember the authors offhand. Also, Geneen Roth is an author who is recovered from Binge Eating Disorder, and her books are very inspirational.

Good luck.

Thanks for the info on Binge Eating.
I know I often eat and eat to fill a void deep within.
And, I can eat large amounts of food in a short time.
My gf will no longer try and stop me as I can really angry and rage when she does. She does say I must have a tapeworm.
I am way overweight. I usually don't read the posts on this forum because usualling when someone thinks of an Eating Disorder they think about anorexia or Bulimia. Usually fat people are just that fat...not that they have an eating disorder.
Anyway, thanks for sharing about binge eating. It was helpful.
