Every year at work I am surrounded by tasty treats and sweet things. I'd love to be able to turn away from them but today I'm feeling very VERY weak. Its easy for me to say "well, christmas only comes once a year" but at the same time I know deep down inside I'll hate myself for indulging.

Totally feel your pain! My family is totally food obsessed too this time of year. They plan and talk about those "special" meals weeks in advance.

gee, i was a VERY happy woman when my husband stopped
bringing home mince tarts. i haven't done splurging like this since two xmas'es ago. AND i found out my scale weighs less than my psychiatrist's does. oh, dear. i weigh myself in the "almost altogether," which INCLUDES his office. he steps out the door when i do, ha,ha! i'm in a bit of a dilemma, weight wise, because i want to lose, (no numbers) just a little weight, which my psychiatrist had something to say about. i hate to say it, but it is true. IT CAN BE VERY HARD TO STOP. |

I need to lose 50 lbs. because I am overweight. I am having a hard time getting back to counting my points. I did OK today. hopefully tomorrow will be better. But yes, mrsbee I did survive!
