why would it have to do with you?? I guess I missed something here. I mentioned this in my post recently as well...I suppose because few come to this forum in comparison with the rest.

Hi freewill,

I’m new here and haven’t been here long enough to know who goes where. But I can’t imagine the wonderful people here avoiding a forum because of any one person. I have a sense that everyone here “gets” that we’re all struggling and recovering together, and that judgement and abandonment isn’t tolerated. For whatever it’s worth I know there are HUGE eating disorder communities all over the net. Some good, some bad. But I’ve noticed how many people with eating disorders prefer to be a part of a forum strictly revolved around that alone. I use to be that way. But after realizing my recovery isn’t all about the eating disorders I’ve found that places like this help me more as a whole person. Sorry you’re feeling like there’s little ED support. PM me if you ever need an ear.

Hugs. ~ Bee

Thank you Bee... I'll take you up on the Pming.. My ED has so much to do with everything else that has little to do with eating.

lit bit... I put the other post out there because I CARE about you... Not eating, it gets BAD, it just is not worth the permenant damage.. believe me please Why are there few posts in this area?

I am somewhat afraid to reply to some of the other posts, I'm not sure what to say. Obviously I don't want to lie but I hate worrying people so I guess I say nothing. Even though any of those other people could just read this..meh. I don't make sense anymore...

Thank you much though, it is nice to know that someone out there cares. Feel free to PM me anytime if you need to, Perhaps it's hypocritical for me to give advice/support but I dont' care, I still will.

Has anyone thought about all the trigger icons that are out there...people need to stay safe...if you put a trigger icon you are respecting those people and those people will most likely not read or reply...

For me...I respond as much as I think I can be helpful...If I don't think I be helpful...I don't respond...don't you think a lot of people are the same way...I doubt highly that people don't post because of one or two individuals...

Anyway you are correct that this forum has less traffic...I wouldn't take it as a personal judgement upon anyone...

((((freewill))))

Believe me it has nothing to do with you. I have not posted here as I have not been ready to really open up yet. I read here but I have not posted much. Sometimes it is so painful to admit what I do that I just walk away. That is not okay really but in time I will begin to post. I am just now beginning to open up some and it is not easy. But i do care and I will try to do better about coming here and at least letting you know that at least I am connecting. Please keep posting and coming here. You are important. Take care friend and know you are in my thoughts.

I dont think it has anything to do with you its just that we all have an ED to come with or some other problem & some time we just dont know what to say most of the time I just let the people that post that I am thinking of them if I feel that I have noting to say that can help them or if I am having a bad time myself also my Husband finds it very hard to cope with my ED so I dont get on here very often as it upsets him that I come on here please pm me if you want to I will reply to anyone who pm's me but I cant say it will be straight away

for me personally, i have distanced myself from this forum because I feel triggered by it all. Crazy as it sounds, somehow i take this into competition, i read about how people are starving themselves for days and to me, I want to beat that. Its absurd and makes no sense and i feel that for me to continue to get better, I need to distance myself from any negativity surrounding an ED.

I'm sorry if i've offended anyone, i love this forum but I think for me to fully get better, I need to let go of all past things that could bring up my ED.

I think a lot of people on the forum just don't know or understand a lot about eating disorders. They don't know what to say, so they don't say anything.

Unfortunately I don't know very much about ED. Now, after saying that I should say that I am 100lbs overweight. So I guess I do know about the eating too much side of ED as opposed to the not eating side of things or being bulimic.

After reading these posts, I think I will come here more often and lend my support as much as I can. Please, if ever I say something that is unrealistic or not helpful, let me know. I want to learn from all of you wonderful people Why are there few posts in this area?

Hugssss
