When I was 15 I was at a treatment center and the ED kids could get snacks whenever they wanted to but people without EDs couldn't. Like we would watch them eat popcorn and stuff.

Idk. That stuff just stuck with me as an adult and is why I'm so particular about my own weight.

Yeah. That's why there's separate inpatient units for whether you need to go for mainly an eating disorder or another psych condition. Presumably, if they were on a regular psych unit they weren't there for eating disorder treatment but whatever mental shyt goes with it. Meanwhile other patients are potentially seeing it as others getting special privileges because of unhealthy behaviors.
