I understand your fear (and shame?).... At the same time, it's been my experience that secrets detroy families not the truth. Truth definitely shakes up families and things might get worse before they get better, but with the right supports truth sets families free from cycles of deception and pretending and creates the opportunity for healing and growth for the whole family. I am still working on this in my own life, but so far the results are good.

Take good care,
-FT
