since i was fourteen years old i can recall getting into my mothers purse and popping a few of her mini thins or yellow jackets, the occasional stackers. ever since i have relied on diet pills to maintain my weight. i do everything i can to lose the weight, with every pill imaginable on the market, yet, i still cannot lose weight. either i remain the same or i'll even gain, the exact opposite effect i hope for.
when i look between my med. cabinet and the console in my car i have 7 bottles of diet pills and direutics. retiva, trim spa, lepitril, leprozine, slimquick, and the caffienated and non caffienated direutics and I even have perscription strength post surgery laxative in my frig, an entire gallon. yet.....i'm not losing. i've actually bloated up and feel completely fat and disguisting. i am not trying to be skinny, i am not trying to be something i am not capable of being. all i am asking for is my post baby weight, about 140-150 pounds at 5'7".....I need to lose 35-40 pounds....... I want to wear a size 10 or 11/12 jeans. is my wish irrational? i don't think so.......why is this weight stuck on me like this? ![]() |

you probably know already but there's honestly no telling what those diet pills are doing to you. there's probably no possible way to explain your weight in the face of all that.
i know from experience. i've taken a lot of the things on that list and a few that aren't, and they screw up your body and mind massively. especially the laxatives! all you have in the world is your health.

why not try to lose weight the healthy way, that is by finding out what is your best nutritional choices, and do them... and walk 2 miles or something similar every day...
it works for everyone who disciplines themselves and sticks to it till they reach their desired weight... I know, I lost alot of weight once and thank goodness there wasn't a Dr. around who would give me a rx for diet pills, and I hated how the over the counter drugs made me feel, all ill and out of whack! try a healthy diet, some patience, and exercise and if you need constant motivation, get a weight loss tape from BellaRuth Naperstak... nothing like guided imagery and affirmations to build up your strength. no wonder you haven't accomplished your desire, you were going about it all wrong... so good luck in your endeavor to get healthy, but there really is only one way to do that, and that is in a healthy way! xooxo peace and encouragement, night ![]() |
