Hi monchika. I have never actually tried any products for weight loss. I would say that the best way to do it, if you are going to do it at all, is to eat normally (a variety of foods from all groups, no elimination, no restriction) and make sure you're getting a good amount of exercise. That can vary from 3 times a week to 7 days a week, aiming for about 20 minutes of good solid activity (you can spend more than that warming up and cooling down if you wish). People don't generally like to admit it, but the truth is our bodies are meant to be a certain way and there's only so much we can (safely) do. The rest we just have to accept and leave up to our bodies. As long as you're taking care of yourself, you're good to go.

Do what spondiferous advised. Do not ever diet because dieting, in the overwhelming majority of cases leads to - guess what - weight gain. So no more diets, products, etc., but a combination of normal eating and enjoyable exercise.

Weight loss, that is sustainable, isn't something, that happens overnight. Daily work outs, even a 15 minute yoga routine counts, and changing your diet to one that is minful of what you consume. Know the daily recommend limits, salts/sugars as much, if not more than the whole fat/calorie aspect. Which, if you are staying in guidelines, it evens out.

Everyone, looks at me now...how'd you do it? You look great. There was no secret formula, except daily yoga, just 15 minutes, squeezed between kids to school/getting to work. All started with a pinched/sciatic nerve.

The weight is off. One year, at a size 10, sometimes an 8. For someone who felt 14 was my 'size', but the weight loss started at an 18. I think this is my 'size' 10.

Seltzer water(flavored), adjusted my taste buds and curbed, the sweet tooth. Yoga, makes you drink water, because it's that type of workout.

Takes determination, to roll out that mat.

Never touched the diet pills.

Good luck finding what works for you.

As far as I can see Lipovon is just another fad "diet pill", produced by a Mexican company. It is labelled as a "diet supplement" which means that it is not subject to standard regulatory approval in the way in which evidence-based medications are.

I think that the others have offered you great advice - eating in a healthy way (not a "diet") and regular exercise is the way to sustainable weight loss.

It might help if you saw a qualified dietitian. Dietitians are health professionals who can offer their clients advice about healthy eating.

Side note: try to build some muscle; it'll help you lose weight in the long-term. You don't have to be huge, unless you want that sorta thing.
