It was sent home with us, against my wishes, and I didn't have the foresight to throw it away. Back in the "good old days" I would douse a very tempting item like that with dish soap and throw in the trash ASAP.

Alas, I may have ... um, you know. OK, it was REALLY good cake - and I had about 4-5 "wedding sized" servings. Home made from scratch, chocolate, vanilla, and caramel layers, great frosting, edible goodies for decoration.

Oh vey!

Oh my ... it does sound like good cake. At least you didn't gorge on Little Debbies or Twinkies! If you are going to go all it, go with style!

Wedding size is like half of regular size, right?

Depends on your definition of "regular".

Yeah, like an inch, inch and half wide by about 4 - 5 inches long.

I feel for you right now, more than ever MJ. I am staying with my folks since my Dad had his stroke. My Mom had her birthday this weekend with this huge cake he got her for her birthday. More than half of it is left, over estimating since his mind is not what it used to be. So much cake left. It is not mine to throw out but it is sitting in the fridge painfully there every time I go in. Worse, it is SO damned delicious all those lovely layers of tempting. He spared no expense on this one, so, so very good, all the things cake should be. Argghhhh. A test of will power, guess how it is going? You have my sympathies with your incident as well.

Thats great! Are you using shirataki noodles? Krogers has them. Theyre not really pasta, but theyre not bad. I find they are a good change of pace when i cant face another sandwich or salad or beans or meat. Regular pasta seems too filling now. You can fill your plate, even your belly, but you dont fill up your points count! I dont think - idk, actually! But sometimes this italian girl just wants a big bowl of pasta, and now i can have it, without wrecking my diet or roasting a spaghetti squash!

Yup, I discovered those almost 2 years ago, they're great. Pasta without the side of guilt, LOL.
Thanks for this!
