So I've been weighing myself at the gym and I was losing a pound a day for a few days (SCORE!). Then today I weighed myself and I gained 6 pounds overnight
![]() I am under 5' tall and I'd have to eat like it's Christmas for two weeks straight to put on six pounds…and it would really show. So I know that reading can't be right…so I checked several more times while repositioning the scale. Apparently I might have lost as much as 2.5 lb since yesterday (impossible) or gained as much as 7 lb since yesterday (also impossible). So the good news is I did not, in fact, put on six pounds in my sleep and I know my weight within a 10-lb range (that's at least a pant size for someone my size). The bad news is I have no idea what I actually weigh and whether my new routine is working. I need to order a scale of my own. I really don't like the idea of having a scale in my bathroom but it is a good way to quickly gauge progress. Bummer. |

(((Sherbert))), It sounds like that scale needs to be recalibrated. Perhaps you could ask the gym to check it, that way you don't have to buy your own. I think your clothes would be a good indicator if you had put on 7 lbs since yesterday. Be well!!!
