I'm going to the gym after class in a couple hours. I haven't been in a long time. I'll update later with how it goes, I plan on stationary cycling, on one of those machines you can increase intensity etc. It's has different virtual trails from around the world you can watch on it's screen while your exercising

Walked 20 to 30 minutes today. Yesterday walked 30 minutes and did yard work 30-45 minutes.

I'm hoping to get motivated here. Some websites require payment to join and this one is free. Not the best time of year to begin a program for me.

Currently trying to get back into the habit of doing at least some sort of exercise every day. Still recovering from IT band syndrome, so nothing too aggressive. At the very least, doing my PT exercises. I think tonight before bed, I'll try 15 minutes of yoga since I did my PT exercises last night.

Success! I did 15 minutes of yoga last night before bed! Having not done yoga seriously or regularly in close to a year and a half, the 15 minutes was kind of perfect. I'm going to keep alternating every night between PT exercises and yoga. I'll keep it at 15 minutes for now, but I'll probably slowly start increasing my practice times.

Tonight: PT exercises for IT band syndrome.

Well, I didn't end up doing any exercise last night. I had a phone date with my friend, and we were on the phone for probably two hours. My husband reminded me that socializing it also good for my mental health, so even though I didn't get to do any exercises, it wasn't wasted time. I'll definitely do either my PT exercises or yoga tonight, though!

I did 5 of my 6 PT exercises last night!

The weekend is always tough for me because it's a change in routine, but I think it's important for me to maintain a daily exercise routine of some sort. Tonight, I'll try to do 15 minutes of yoga before bed. That's seems manageable. The weather is supposed to be pretty lousy tomorrow, but maybe on Sunday, it'll be nice enough to get some exercise outdoors, maybe a walk or a bike ride!

I seem to be developing a pattern. I'm having a little trouble sticking to an every day exercise routine, but I seem to be able to do every other day. I didn't get to do my exercises last night. Husband and I watched a movie instead of TV shows since it was Friday, and it right up to my bed time. But today, we went for walk and I hit 10,000 steps for the first time in a long time! I'll probably still try to do my PT exercises tonight, though. But I definitely enjoyed the walk. It felt good to be out on the paths again, even if I can't go running again yet.

178 pounds. Yesterday 2307 calories. 800 calorie overage minus 200 short yields 600 calories still to go.

Between the holidays and a business trip, I haven't been doing much lately. Goal for tomorrow: schedule a new PT appointment! And also get back on track with doing some sort of exercise AT LEAST every other day!

Walked after work and walked once at work also. Total walking time today was 40-ish minutes or so.

I haven't been on much lately, but today was my third straight day of riding my bike! Monday and Tuesday I rode for 30 minutes. Today I rode for 45 minutes. I have my road bike on a trainer indoors, so I don't have to deal with cold. I feel like I've been getting a pretty good workout!
