My mom thinks johnny depp is in love with her and sends her messages through media tv's radio. And thinks he watches her on Google earth live and burnt every thing in her trailer and is staying on my couch and says she is waiting for johnny to come get her. When I tell her this isn't true she gets mad. What do I do what does this mean

Hello, I am sorry you are having such a hard time with your mom. You are correct about the delusions. It is proper you want some support for yourself and some help for her. I think having someone we care about in mental distress is understandably upsetting and stressful. You deserve to be listened to ... and comforted. Your mom may benefit from an evaluation to set her up with meds to help her manage her illness. I do not think she will get better without some intervention from outside resources. Meds will not magically fix anyone but they can help stabilize people enough to get them back on track... your mom needs help from a professional. You are a great daughter and mental illness is tough to handle for all family members. It is okay to need some encouragment for yourself also. Peace.

I would call your family doctor and tell them about your moms delusions and see if it is medicine related or something else. Then i would get a counselor for myself to talk about the situation and what to do about it. tc and blessings (((hugs)))

Where I live, the county has a mental health and mental retardation person whose job is to visit people and determine if they need help. I don't know from your post if you are still in school or not. It seems like teachers at school should know who you need to contact to help your mother. (It is hard to tell a person's age on these forums. I plan to be living with my mother soon, and I am 49 years old.)
