So I was talking with my Mother when I stated I really want the Nintendo switch and that it looked cool, she brought up that I told her about it a bit ago and said it looked dumb, and the I didn't like the system. Problem is I dont remember this, or the conversation going like this? This happens often where I will forget what I have told people or my opinion will change between conversations. This happened with a shift I previously said was ugly but then liked. I always have conversations I don't remember with opinions I don't remember giving. Or they have opinions I don't agree with. And it's not that I read more info about the opinion, I know this isn't the case and sometimes these conversations are close together. I don't know why this happens? I will admit I do have time gaps in my memory and I do have a bad memory. So that might be the cause. What do you think?

Sounds like you have some memory issues. Have you talked to your doctor about it? My memory problems are likely caused by my medications (and increasing age!)

Ask your doctor! There could be several causes, or even none at all - just not a great memory.

Hi, NotDeadYet
Have you searched the net for the effects of your drugs? Side effects? Have you undergone ECT? Because I have and I'm having the same trouble with my memory. ![]() Quote:

I chalk up my own memory issues too to medication. As for conversations, while my opinions never change, I reminded of already having had them often. It seems I am always repeating myself.

Get into the habit of replay customer service conversation summarizing them you tube anything on television when in a dialouge with someone else focus on what actually worked in remembering conversations. Try to identity what you might attribute it concentration too strong of personality too much of overwhelming topic the person's importance when you trying to express anger. Is that you want to be more specific and ask smaller questions to get to the bigger picture? Does it feel like you wasnt there for the convo all together like too weird? Cat got your tongue. Are you ashamed to ask for repeat of the question? Ask a therapist about ptsd and dissocation would be what I suggest
