I don't know where to post this.
I haven't visited the doctors in a long time. Maybe maintaining my health will help me to ease depression and stop thinking about a suicide.

There are a few problems I have.

- a serious lower back pain, sometimes I can't even sleep with my back.
I can't really run or jump because my back hurts. I am not sure if my back will recover from this pain at all.

- I experience a really painful headache at least once a month, and when I have a headache my eyes always hurt. Maybe I have brain tumor?

- severe allergy between April and May of every year. It is getting worse every year. I am bleeding when I blow my nose and I sneeze like ten times in a low. Now I am thinking it is something more serious than allergy?

Should I just use emergency room? family doctor? How much should I expect to pay for the first visit without insurance? If I can't afford the following visit what options do I have?
thanks

It seems to me that you need to see a general practitioner. From what you've described in your post, none of the symptoms you have sound serious. The back pain sounds like the most difficult symptom you have. Well, the back pain and your health anxiety...health anxiety is so frightening and so difficult to deal with.

I don't know what a doctor's visit will cost you. Are you eligible for Medicaid?

I would first see if your community has a health outreach I know my community does. I don't know where you live. Check the state, county and city websites also local hospitals have doctors who have free clinics once a month I know this is done here in WI. You don't want to rack up big bills. For your depression there has to be a way to get you free help. I wish I knew how. Sorry for you . I just saw you did post where you live. I can try to find something out for you but it may take a little time.

Don't go to the ER - that's for emergencies only.

GP (family doctor) is where you need to start.

A GP will give you referrals for the specialists. It's best to start there.

If you can, get an MRI for your back. It'll show the vertebrae and the discs between them. It can be expensive but if you're having pain it'll help a great deal.

The headaches sound particularly concerning. See a GP! They will also be able to refer you to the specialists it sounds like you need to see.
