Oh crap I already replied to this thread.
Oh no biggie, nothing wrong with putting in more than one reply.

Me too. It was worse when I was in high school. I realized this when I discovered I am almost practically hidden in all the group shots in my high school yearbook. I had a small graduating class (109 students), so I was in a lot of pictures, and I belonged to several clubs. The only images I'm clear in (besides my individual class photo) is the one where I am pictured as being class valedictorian. Otherwise, it is hard to hunt me down in photos, especially since most of my yearbook is black & white, and I've changed a lot since high school (lost weight, cut my hair very short). I still hate seeing pictures of myself.

Yeah I avoid pictures a lot too. I was in several clubs but tried my best to not be in any photos. Yeah I hate seeing photos of myself as well.
Thanks for this!

Yeah, I'm the same. Do not like photos of myself - it's a core issue self worth thing, for me. Years ago, I remember slowly but surely removing nearly all photos of myself from my mothers photo albums and putting them in the bin. And even making a selfie takes about thirty attempts until I'm happy with how I look. Too many issues for my liking.
Thanks for this!

Same with me. I don’t look good and don’t want there to be photos of me.

Yes. One of my weird features is sometimes I look as if I'm smiling in photos when I specifically was not smiling at the time. Messes with my head. It's like there's two me's.
Thanks for this!

Oh wow, that is interesting. Unless you were smiling without realizing it.

Yeah, that's probably what it is. Or more of a nervous grimace.
Thanks for this!
