Same for me. I am early for everything too and in the rare case I am late, I feel very bad.

People faking or exaggerating mental or physical diseases or disorders.

Also I can’t stand attention seekers.

The people I personally know who get on my nerves are both exaggerating their conditions and attention seekers.

People who smoke right in front of a public venue's doors. Can you not walk a few feet away from the doors so that we non-smokers don't have to choke on those toxic carcinogens? I mean, you have every right to want to put them into your bodies, I recognize that, but I feel like that to sit there and puff up a vaporous cloud of them where I have no choice but to walk through it is very inconsiderate, and downright rude. Not to mention, I have severe asthma and that they sometimes irritate my lungs to the point of a coughing fit is almost, I don't know, a complete disregard of my right to breathe.

I know that smoking is hard to quit, but it's not impossible. My own parents both quit cold turkey. Mom quit when she first knew she was pregnant with my older brother, her first born, and never picked them up again because she didn't want to both endanger us, or teach us that it was an okay thing to do and pick it up ourselves.

My grandfather also quit cold turkey, upon learning his lung had a precancerous spot on it. He hasn't looked back since, and now as a result of his near chain smoking days, has been put on a 24/7 hour supply of oxygen. He's actually slowly dying from his lungs being so full of tar and unable to drain fluid, that he can hardly breathe. Plus, they also took a toll on a valve in his heart, and it is now very leaky.

To put it bluntly, I get the addiction, I get it's a nasty thing, but it's no excuse to polute my own air, cause me labored breathing, and a chance at second hand smoke related cancer. It's killing my grandfather, is had my baby brother in it's grips, it's doing it's damage to my family as it is, I don't want to add to that list if I don't have to.

People that honk because they’re being inconvenienced when a situation can’t be helped.

Tailgaters

People that are mean to someone because they have some power imbalance they are taking advantage of.

Whistling (why the hell...)

Panhandlers playing loud instruments for money at bus stops where people cannot get away from it.

Oh yes all of these examples annoy me too. Even though I don’t drive, it is annoying to watch someone tailgate others. It is an accident waiting to happen.

I go postal 1) when reading anything online that has never been edited or been seen by a proofreader, and 2) when anyone uses a word that they can’t correctly pronounce.

I don’t mean this as a political statement, but I have enjoyed watching James Comey speak during the past weeks. He is extremely articulate.

When people start fiddling on their phones or tablets while you're having a conversation and then they have to ask you to repeat because their attention was pulled away. And then they do the exact same thing seconds later. It's like watching a fly with a light bulb. Put it away!

Also people who give no thought to cleanliness or manners. Sneezing or coughing into the air without covering their mouth, picking their nose, handling clean dishes without washing their hands first, etc.

A weird one I have is about people around my food. When I'm cooking or making food it makes me irrationally ticked off when people mess with it at all, or really if they're around me at all at the time. Someone will adjust the heat of the oven or stove without asking, or they'll move something I'm using. If they move a cup I'm using, or touch my plate... it doesn't matter if they're careful or practice proper hygiene, it makes me really mad and I don't know why.

I thought of a couple of others.

The word narcissist is overused to the point of becoming an absurdity. The same with sociopath and psychopath. Sometimes people are just selfish and bad. Your ex probably didn’t have a lot in common with Ted Bundy.

Using the word ‘victim’ pejoratively. It is usually used to shame women and minorities, the implication being that the individuals in these groups haven’t suffered sufficient harm to be called or to identify with being a victim. I think that the first that I thought of the word as pejorative was in Vonnegut’s “The Sirens of Titan.” Victim should be reclaimed and, maybe, rehabilitated.

Lastly, “identifying” as sexually outside of the straight, celibate or LGBTQ culture.
I’m queer. The guy who has sex exclusively with blow-up dolls is queer. Queer is a huge umbrella that covers people who tick ‘other’ through ‘prefer not to say.’ You can be a sexual vegan and be queer. Queer is good. Straight is good, anything LGBTQ is good. I’m ‘iffy’ on celibacy. (Just kidding.)

Yeah I hate it when people use their phone consistantly when they are hanging out. It is basically telling the person they are with that they are not that important.

The lack of etiquette. Etiquette seems lost today.

- men who wear hats indoors (worse still in a restaurant)
- smoking without asking permission
- using devices and ignoring the people around them (how effing rude)
- butting into line
- allowing a door to shut in someone's face instead of holding it open
etc
Thanks for this!

Loud noises (music, motorcycles, television, talking, trucks, etc)
Crowds
Flashing lights
Tardiness
Driving (particularly other drivers)
Waiting on hold for too long
Prime numbers, excluding two (don't buy three things, buy four or two, don't buy five things, get four or six, and so on.)
Commercials/adverts
Decisions being made for me
Non-smokers who sit in the designated smoking area and then complain about the smoke (I use these areas out of respect for non-smokers, they shouldn't intrude in the area designated for smoking if they are going to complain about it)
Thanks for this!

I have more...

People who think any outside place is a "designated smoking area" even when there are signs to the contrary.

Smokers who think that the world is their ashtray and leave butts laying all around on the ground.

People who weave in and out of lanes of traffic on the freeway at a breakneck pace AND don't bother to use their turn signal while doing so.

People on crotch rockets going about 1000 miles an hour down the freeway.

People who park in fire lanes and put on their flashers because they can't be arsed to find a space in the parking lot to run a few items in.

Commercials that are noticeably louder than the TV shows during which they air.

Freemium games that use "in app" or "in game" purchases to death that without which, you either severely struggle to, or can't even begin to advance in the game.

Buying a game that can't be played until you buy DLC for it.

Youtube videos where the Youtuber is relaying news but is too lazy to use images related to the news, instead opting for game-play of some completely and totally unrelated game.

Bullying in any way shape or form.

I've another I was reminded of today. Please don't assume by a person's appearance or ethnicity what religion they are.

I am not Christian and I get tired of churchy types assuming I am. If it is bad enough I will say something but then they act as if it was I who wronged them instead of the other way around. Just stop it please.
