Is there anyway to find therapists at low cost? Most that I’ve seen are $60-$150 per session:/... or has anyone found success with in person support group meetings?is thrre anything similar? Counseling at community centers or something as an option? I def want to get help but i cant spend hundreds and hundreds of dollars to just talk to someone...

Therapy is a cliche. If someone knows the basics of CBT and others common treatments, a therapy isnt so much needed. Probably you even know what can help you. Therapists just are logical to ppl problems , they will say the basics, they will try to change thinking patterns etc. You can even recognize your bad thinking patterns and try to change em.

Btw what problems do you have? ? what are u diagnosed with ?
Thanks for this!

I was only diagnosed with GAD. But he was quick to want to medicate me.. I didn’t really want to do that. Especially when I suspect there is more to it. I have had depression for yrs.. but again I believe there’s at least two or three other things I’m dealing with, but since I’d rather not be labeled as “that” person for self diagnosis.... I just stick with what I was told initially. I guess that’s the problem. If i had a “label” on it then i could go about getting over it myself? Idk.. what if I don’t have anxiety and I’m on the spectrum or something?? But you could go to 10 dif therapists and they may all diagnose you differently and treat you differently. That’s why im skeptical... all i know is I don’t see, feel, think things the same way most people doOptions for therapy

If you connect with a therapist who is a "good fit" it can change your life for the better.

I am currently on medicaid and seeing the best therapist I can imagine for myself at a local clinic. No cost.

I can almost guarantee you that you do have options, as far as seeing a therapist.
