Have you ever noticed careless behavior in yourself before? Were you able to become more mindful of your surroundings and improve? What causes someone to act carelessly?

Im a person that always tries to stay in control, but on the other hand sometimes in social situations I just get into like this party girl character , its my escape, because when I'm "her" then I'm free to do what ever. sometimes i say really dumb things when I'm like that but i still feel like I'm more free then usual. its usually amplified when i drink and smoke and then i just go crazy. its fun, its how i escape from always trying to control everything that i do. but its also not who i really am at least not fully.

i don't think i am particularly careless, in fact i'd say i am quite the opposite in that i am an overthinker perhaps. i think everyone has different personalities. Working with a therapist to manage them may prove to be Useful. Give it a thought. i Hope things will improve soon for everyone. please do not give up. Hugs. Sending many safe, warm hugs to BOTH you, @annoyedgrunt84, your Family, your Friends and ALL of your Loved Ones! Keep fighting and keep rocking NO MATTER WHAT HAPPENS, OK?!

There have just been times that I have done things that I was lucky didn’t result in a fairly serious incident, changing songs while driving or something like that, not even that I really swerved too badly but still I think about it later and feel alarmed about my behavior. I’m trying to stop myself from rationalizing the behavior by saying “Well nothing bad happened”. I mean it could have ended badly, I just got lucky.
