Why can't you take legal action against a doctor?

My last Dr almost killed me several times, lied about all meds, constantly ignored me, etc. I complained and got banned from all practices in NE MD & DE!
I contacted dozens of lawyers and NO one would take my case! No one cares! The healthcare company that runs all practices and hospitals around here did an internal review and said my treatment was completely satisfactory! I could not believe it!
