Well the Reeses peanut butter cups are disappearing rather quickly...I'll have to order another box of them. They're king size packs with 4 in them 24 in each box/outer but DJ has decided that he really likes them....*groans* so they won't last a month....

SO glad you are back Starlite*

Greetings,

I am watching my sweet intake, therefore none for me.

Thank you for sharing, though!

Have a good one.
Thanks for this!

Well, I ate all of the Halloween candy before Halloween even GOT here!

THEN, it was all on sale since they want to clear all of it for the Christmas candy next...So I had to buy 3 bags of it: One Reese's variety pack (with mini-bars, pieces, and cups), M & M peanuts, and Whoppers! LOVE those malted milk balls.

Also got some chocolate mini-cupcakes with orange frosting and chocolate bits on top, plus one piece of chocolate cake with frosting.

I recently made some devil's food cake in the microwave. I think I "baked" it a little too long, but it came out okay enough. I forget about the microwave to make some chocolate treats if it's too hot to bake with your regular oven! It only takes a few minutes too, versus up to 45 min at least, for a cake? So it's very convenient and doesn't heat up your kitchen.....
Thanks for this!

This thread is making me drool

Ok, I haven't tried this recipe myself, but apparently you can make brownies in a mug in the microwave in three minutes!

Three Minute Brownies

Ingredients:
4 Tablespoons cake flour
4 Tablespoons sugar
2 Tablespoons cocoa
1 egg
3 Tablespoons milk
3 Tablespoons oil

1 mug

In mug, mix flour, sugar and cocoa. Spoon in one egg. Pour in milk and oil and mix very well. Microwave for three minutes (watch to make sure nothing crazy happens, it should puff out of the top of the mug, though). Wait until it stops rising and sets in the mug. Spoon out and let it cool for a minute (don't burn your mouth!) and OM NOM NOM

Good luck, to anyone who tries this, and let me know how it works out!
