Thanks for the answer and hmmmm maybe you are on to something there with the ice cream and saltines. That does not sound too bad there.

I will have to try that one and get back to you.

I have to stand with you on bologna. I do not like it and really never did. But I like the song that used to go with it. The kids were so cute in that commercial.

Salt with sweets is good. And you should really try the peanut butter and crackers in your soups and chilli, you will never go back and wonder why you did not do this all along. (trust me)

The chilli sause in place of the ketchup could be a possiblity (will get back to you on that one) (let me check with my cook----aka sabby).

The sandwhich of peanut butter and frootloops oh I dont know about that. Maybe my grandchildren would be willing to check that out for me.

Thanks notz for answering. I though people would think I done lost it. NOT!!!!

Can't blame you on the third one. Have not tried it, so I will be kind. Peanut butter and sugar sandwiches hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm, used to have that as a kid for all dinners. NOt bad really.

The jelly and ketchup is really awsome as a dip on the kielbasa. It really does make a good snack for holidays or anyday and for meals too.

It is just AWSOME to have so many who like peanut butter and crackers in thier soups and chilli.. Awwww, I am not so weird (I was really sweetin it there).

The vanilla ice cream and peanuts and chocolate syrup sounds good or anyways I like the Ice cream cones that have the peanuts and chocolate on them. COOL!!!!!

Chilli with a boiled egg and a glass of OJ???? For breakfast????? lolol Not sure. But ding ding ding----prize here.

Peanut butter and nutella, now I have heard that the nutella is good but have not tried it. And the peanut butter and celery is great but raisons for ants----okay. I give. But I have heard of that before.

Thank you for participating, greatly appreciated.

Oh yeah, I also like peanut butter, cinnamon, and banana sandwiches on a whole grain whole wheat bread. Thinking that might be my lunch for tomorrow.

None of those combinations would work for me. My son enjoys celery and peanut butter which I find equally strange. I just love to scoop peanut butter right out the jar and eat a huge big teaspoon full.

A good old tablespoon of peanut butter is good. I prefer Jiff over the others for that. But you are right----and it can give you a boost of energy.

Your son is great to like celery and peanut butter.

Thank you Sabrina for your vote. Hugs.

You can have any kind of chilli you want. I think it is great that you picked that one (my personal favorite).

Salt on cottage cheese, yes. Apples----have not tried. Thank you for the vote.

No, can't say that I have. But then again I guess if they are drinking does it matter? I would think they would want something that takes at least good.

I would be afraid to try that one. But thank you for asking.

When I was a kid I used to dip cheesy crisps (chips to those not in the UK) into chocolate mousse. Chocolate and cheese go well together!

I don't eat much weird these days, although someone mentioned frozen peas, I love them!

dps, have you tried the regular, salty RRRuffles have RRRidges with chocolate cake? It's a good thing.... Kinda like some were saying about FFries with a milkshake(I always go for the Wendys choc.frosty and fries and at home its vanilla ice cream with Pnuts and choc. syrup)
DPS and others:
Whats your favorite salty/sweet combo? - (Besides the ice cream/ FFry one)

DPS Vegemite is a very concentrated beef extra. More commonly found in Australia. It looks and tastes like shoe polish.

Promite is an extract from vegetables. Also looks like shoe polish but is much sweeter. I have graduated to that.

So with honey its kind of like sweet and sour on toast.

I have also heard of people eating peanut butter and banana sandwiches.

Peanut Butter and grated carrot is also a winner on sandwiches too.
Thanks for this!
